Brickyard Brewing has been making delicious craft beers in Lewiston, NY since 2017. After a couple years of handling their design needs in-house they came to Stronghold to help take their brand to the next level. We started by redesigning their logo, the orginal felt a bit dated and lacked any meaning. The result was bold circular logo that features one of Lewiston's historic gas street lamps. From there we developed label templates for each of their categories of beer. The first is for the sours and fruited beers, since these tend to be more fun we wanted to allow more space for custom artwork that spans almost the entire height of the can. The second has two variations, a white bottom panel for the IPAs and a black bottom for everything else. These templates allow space for artwork that tells a unique story from beer to beer while maintaining consistency for better brand recognition. The illustrations are bright and colorful, full of texture and continue to win awards year after year.
