I was really excited when I was approached by Flynn to help on a branding and packaging project for their client Top Flite—a brand synonymous with the game of golf. After working on an extensive rebranding process with Flynn, Top Flite ended up using one of the concepts I developed which is beginning to roll out on golf balls and gear nationwide at Dick's Sporting Goods and Golf Galaxy.
Top Flite's logo has evolved over the years, always revolving around a logotype and has never utilized an actual mark. The new branding leads with a mark that merges the letter T and F into a strong and powerful identifier that can live on it's own and be instantly recognizable whether it's viewed large on packaging or small on a golf ball.

Top Flite ended up going with a more quirky and irreverant look for their new packaging, but I still really enjoyed developing this direction. Angular elements interact with one another from panel to panel and unique type treatments, color schemes, and textures help make each box stand on it's own, while remaining connected when together.
